Description
As with poppies and camomile, cornflower was once a valuable, arable field plant. Excellent for natural gardens and wildflower meadows.
Cornflowers prefer calcareous, permeable soil in sunny, sheltered areas.
Broadcast or sow thin in rows, then cover with soil. Do not transplant the seedlings! Cut the flowers regularly in order to extend the blooming period.
