Dill thrives in moist, loose, humus-rich soil in sunny areas. Sow thin in rows every 3-4 weeks. Harvest dill tips once they reach a length of 15-25 cm; harvest until dill begins to bloom.
Fresh, dried or frozen: use the herb to flavor cucumbers, tomatoes, raw vegetables and fish, use the seeds for pickled vegetables.
