Description
A simple medicinal plant which often sows itself. The marigold keeps both nematodes and slugs at bay and is a suitable green fertilizer. Marigolds are a must for any vegetable, herb or cottage garden.
Keep moist and shaded during germination. Marigolds thrive in standard garden soil in sun or partial shade.
Tip: Sow thin. Cut the plants back after the first bloom in order to allow a subsequent bloom.
